To keep pace with the changing needs of our employees, OPS proactively evaluates its program of benefits to provide its employees the best possible work environment.

The highlights below do not represent complete OPS policy statements. This information is intended to summarize the benefits offered at OPS. All benefits are payable subject to plan provisions, limitations, and exclusions contained within the official policies, procedures, or plan documents.

Time Off

The company provides 15 days (120 hours) of paid vacation and up to 5 days (40 hours) of sick leave annually. Additionally, once you have worked for the company for 5 years, you will receive an extra 40 hours of vacation leave annually.

Health Coverage

OPS offers a competitive program of health and welfare plans to help you take care of yourself and your family, including PPO, PPO w/ HRA, and HMO healthcare insurance options that include a prescription drug plan. A dental plan is also available. In addition, OPS offers its employees an FSA plan and a DCAP plan.

Retirement Plan

OPS offers a SIMPLE savings plan. You may enroll in the plan any time after your date of hire. In 2009, you may contribute up to $11,500 of your base pay on a pretax basis if under age 50 and $14,000 if 50 years of age or older. In addition, the company matches a portion of your contributions, which are immediately vested upon receipt, making your savings grow even faster.

Life Insurance

OPS provides its employees life insurance equal to one times yearly salary, to a maximum of $100,000.

Disability Insurance

OPS provides its employees with both short term and long term disability coverage to protect a portion of your income in the event of prolonged absence due to sickness or accident. The short term disability pays 60% of salary up to $1000/week following the 15th day of missed work due to accident or illness, for 13 weeks. The long term plan pays 60% of income up to $8000/month after 90 days of missed work due to accident or illness, to age 65.

Your personal and professional growth is of vital importance to us. That's why OPS provides tuition reimbursement opportunities to enable the education that is vital to your current job, giving you the skills necessary to advance your career.

Employee Referral

Company offers its employees a $7,500 bonus for the referral of qualified candidates who are subsequently hired by the company.
